Lifetime Achievement Award
This award recognises an individual who has made a significant contribution to the growth and development of the APAC payments industry throughout their career. It celebrates visionary leaders who have made positive change and contributed to the wider payment’s ecosystem.
To be eligible for the Lifetime Achievement Award, the nominee must have demonstrated an impact on the payments industry beyond their own organisation’s success. They should be recognised as a thought leader, who has been actively working to improve and shape the future of payments. The nominee’s achievements should reflect a sustained commitment to innovation, leadership, and industry evolution.
This award is open to individuals whose influence extends across one or multiple areas of the payments industry through regulatory engagement, technological innovation, industry collaboration, or mentorship.
Nominations may be submitted by the nominee themselves or by another individual.
Entry eligibility
- The nominee’s expertise and contributions must have influenced the payments industry in one or several APAC markets.
To make a submission please provide the following information:
Nominee or nominator
- Entry name
- Name of nominating organisation
- Name(s) of nominated organisation(s)
- The nature of the business relationship between you as the nominator and the nominee company’s solution description
Lifetime Achievement Award – Judging Criteria
Describe your achievements under each criteria section.
- Nominee Background & Industry Contributions
Provide an overview of the nominee’s professional background and their journey in the payments industry. What roles have they held, and what key milestones demonstrate their leadership, influence, and commitment to the industry?
- Structural & Ecosystem-Wide Impact
Highlight how the nominee has influenced regulatory frameworks, cross-industry standards, or structural elements of the payments infrastructure. Demonstrate legacy-building work. Highlight any influence on regulation, innovation, collaboration, or overall growth.
- Visionary Leadership & Mentorship
How has the nominee inspired others, mentored future leaders, or nurtured talent across the industry? Include examples of institution-building, early-stage advocacy, or ecosystem vision.
- Recognition & Industry Endorsements
Include career awards, board appointments, keynote recognitions, and tributes from peers or institutions reflecting enduring esteem.
Evidence of Success – Metrics & Achievements
Please provide as much information as you can and quote the source of that information. Such information might include the following, but this is not an exhaustive list and, in each case, the judges will be looking for evidence that supports your claims about the key benefits of the nominees impact:
- Career longevity: Number of years the nominee has been active in the payments industry.
- Geographical influence: Markets where the nominee’s work has made a significant impact, in the APAC Region.
- Industry reach: Key organisations, projects, or regulatory frameworks the nominee has contributed to.
- Notable achievements: Specific initiatives, policies, or products the nominee has influenced.
- Growth and legacy: Measurable impact of the nominee’s work on industry progress and continued influence.
